Our Pastors

Rev. Dr. P. Mark Hill
Senior Pastor

Pastor Mark was born into a pastor’s home and was raised in Selma, Indiana, until he went off to college at Asbury University in Kentucky. He majored and received his BA in Biology with a minor in Physical Education in 1975. After graduation, he answered his childhood call to the ministry and began his studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. Two years into his degree, the North Indiana Conference invited him to fill a two point charge in the Muncie area. Moving back to Indiana, he eventually transferred to Anderson School of Theology and graduated with his Masters of Divinity degree in 1981. Being a lifelong learner, he matriculated into the Doctor of Ministry program at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where he received his doctorate in 2002 with an emphasis in Preaching.

Mark married Rebecca Helm in 1977 and together they have three children and three grandchildren. Rebecca is a gifted musician and serves as a music educator in the Kokomo Center School system.

Mark enjoys spending time with his family, mild sporting activities (where he doesn’t end up in the ER!), woodworking, and any book on the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright…oh, and cookies – he likes eating cookies.

Stacee Fischer Gehring

Stacee Fischer Gehring

Associate Pastor

Born in Logansport, Indiana, Rev. Stacee graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management with a minor in Geology. She utilized her undergraduate education by working as an Environmental Consultant at an engineering firm in Cincinnati, Ohio directly after college. Whilst at Shiloh, Stacee worked with Shiloh’s youth and children’s ministry program. Stacee attended seminary at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia during which time she served in a variety of ministerial capacities: Chaplain at a senior citizen’s living community in the Alzheimer’s unit, Chaplain Intern at Emory University, and Director of Young Adults and Families at Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church in Tucker, Georgia. After graduating from Candler in 2004, Stacee accepted an appointment in the British Methodist Church where she served as a “Vicar” in the Keighley/Worth Valley Circuit located in West Yorkshire County, England. Upon her return from England in 2006, Stacee has been in full-appointment in the Indiana Conference. Stacee was ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2009. Stacee came to Grace in July 2009.
