Proposed Trips for 2008

July 2, 2009 Conner Prairie, Indianapolis Symphony on the Prairie + Fireworks
The trip will cost $40/person and this includes the bus, dinner and entry to the grounds. The bus will leave at 5:30 and return about 10:30 PM. We would like to have all reservations in by June 15. If you haven’t already made a reservation please call Hazel Hodge at 453-2794

“Smoke on the Mountain”

September 14 - 15

Creation Museum and Lexington, Kentucky

The plan is to leave Kokomo early on Monday September 14 and drive to the Creation Museum. We stay there through lunch and then leave for Lexington, KY where we will visit the Kentucky Horse Farm before checking into our motel. In the evening we’ll go the “Red Mile” for a buffet dinner and the opportunity to watch some trotting races before returning to the motel. On Tuesday morning we’ll drive out to the Shaker Village to tour the facilities before having lunch. Following lunch, we’ll leave for home with a short stop in Frankfort, KY to see the very ornate capital building. We’ll stop at a fast food restaurant for a rest stop and dinner on your own before arriving home. The cost of the trip will be $225/ person double occupancy.
