 Dear Friends of Grace

Communion this Sunday!

We live our lives amid the news noise chamber of political bickering, senseless street violence, and economic anxieties.

How encouraged I was this week to hear Will Austin, the Delphi Electronics engineer, who while in Brazil, felt the Spirit giving him a vision of affordable transportation through a Basic Utility Vehicle.  His dream and his connections has brought together fellow engineers, missionaries and christian entrepreneurs to build a better world. www.driveBUV.org

We meet our Lord as we, his people, share in the ordinary stuff of water, bread and wine, and allow His spirit to raise us to new life.

This Sunday is "WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY", a special United Methodist Church offering that will provide college scholarships for racial- and ethnic-minority students in the United States and international students.
