YOUTH RETURN FROM SKI TRIP

Added Grace

Grace Youth experienced FUN at Timber Ridge skiing and snowboarding this past weekend near Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The cottage was heated well with the energy of 30 teens and 7 chaperones both Friday and Saturday night.  It took a couple of hours to get the antenna pointed in just the right direction to get reception for the Colts game Saturday evening, but the guys did it.

May the enthusiasm of our youth spread to make light in our world!  Think about chaperoning sometime in the future and you'll be glad you did.

Are the dark days of winter bringing you down?  Are you tired of cold weather and long nights?  If so, then you need a LIFT!  The cure to your winter blues is LIVING IN FELLOWSHIP TOGETHER.  As a way to bring different generations together and to also answer the changing needs of our congregation, the staff have organized family-friendly Sundays during the Lenten Season.  Beginning 21 February until 28 March, LIFT will take flight!

The Sunday evening schedule will look as follows:

HAITI
United Methodists have had a long-standing relationship with Haiti through the Methodist Church of Haiti. The strong ties between the Methodist Church of Haiti and The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) helped in facilitating the opening of the UMCOR Haiti field office in 2005. 100 percent of Advance gifts made will go to support relief and development efforts due to emergencies in Haiti.

 Responding To The Need...

Haiti needs help.  If you can assist... make a check out to GRACE UMC. In the memo section put, UMCOR Advance #418325-Haiti.
