UPWARD BASKETBALL AND CHEERLEADING - The Kokomo 6 Cluster is beginning a program for the children of our UM cluster and local communities, K through 6th grade. It is the Upward Basketball and Cheerleading programs. We are very pleased to be able to offer this exciting Christ-centered athletic program to our children and youth. The Upward Basketball program will begin with registrations to be filled out by November 20. The cost per child for the basketball or cheerleading program is $53.00. We are also looking for persons/parents who would be willing to 'coach' one of the teams. For more information, contact the church office or brochures will be available at the welcome center.
SOCK DROP - Kokomo Urban Outreachrequested help to collect socks for children in need.Pastor Jeff Newton would like to have three pair of socks for each child.A "sock drop" will be set up in the parlor so if youcalledassist with this KUO mission, just drop off your donation there. The socks are needed for distribution at Thanksgiving so the ideal time to contribute would be between now and mid-November.The missions committee will attempt to assess what has been collected by early to mid-November and decide if additional support is needed.
CHICKENS AND PIGS AND GOATS, OH MY! Once again the Kids@Grace are collecting loose change for Heifer International. Last year they collected over $200 and were able to buy a goat and some boxes of baby chicks to send to a farmer in a poorer country! This year they want to collect even more! There will be a donation box in the Children's Department, as well as a collection taken during Children's Church. A few extra coins can make a big difference!
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Come join us and watch the game from 5:00 - 6:30 pm on Sunday nights at the Grace Community Center.
