WEEKLY BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENTS

SHOPPING WITH JOY - The Mission Ministry Team continues with the "Yellow Bag Collection".  The items that are requested by organizations in the community are on a list inside the bag, so it will help you remember what donations are needed.  Please bring your donated items to the parlor area, so that the Mission Ministry Team can distribute the items to the different organizations. Grace Church has always responded so generously when asked to extend our love and care to the Kokomo Community. We know you will continue to embrace this collection method with the same enthusiasm.

ACOLYTES-The acolytes have graciously (and courageously!) taken on the added responsibility of reading the scripture lesson on the first Sunday of each month - and they've been doing an awesome job! If you are in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade and would like to read in church and/or be an acolyte, contact Amanda Kelly or the church office.

THE PSALM 150 BAND will be leading worship at the 9:25 am service THIS Sunday, 20 March in the Sanctuary.  Join Rev. Stacee as she leads the body of Christ in  songs of prayer and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.  "Sing to the Lord a new song, for the Lord has done marvelous things."  (Psalm 98:1)

LENTEN BREAKFAST SERIES - "ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST" will be held THIS Sat., March 19 at Shiloh United Methodist Church.  Breakfast will be at 8:00 am and a freewill offering will be taken with the proceeds to be divided equally between Crisis Center, Kokomo Urban Outreach, Kokomo Rescue Mission, Samaritan Care Givers, Howard Haven and Red Bird Missions.  Please make reservations by 4:00 pm Thursday, prior to the Saturday breakfast, by calling Shiloh UMC at 457-3140.

L.I.F.T. HAS BEGUN! Guess who's coming to dinner?  Andy, Opie, Gomer Pyle and Barney Fife!  Grace UMC is "Living in Fellowship Together" with Andy, Opie, Barney and the citizens of Mayberry. The Andy Griffith Show is the basis for our intergenerational Sunday evenings during Lent.  After sharing a meal together, (free will donations will be accepted) everyone (children, youth, and adults) will watch an episode from The Andy Griffith Show then participate in an intergenerational activity.  Following our time together in the Fellowship Hall, the age groups will separate for further discussion, activities and Bible study.  Doesn't that sound like a fun night?!  Food, fellowship, and Fife!
