ANNOUNCEMENTS
HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY
will be the topic
of Grace UMM, November 14 at 6:00 pm. Lester Moore from the
Kokomo Chapter will be our guest. Women are always
welcome. Reservations are needed only for the
meal. Reservations for the catered meal may be given to Val
Harris at 453-6952.
HEARTS
AFIRE is our theme
for our stewardship emphasis this year. Today we are inviting
you to make your estimate of giving for 2006. We trust that
you brought your card with you. If you forgot your card, one
is provided in this bulletin, or you may receive one from an usher.
Please prayerfully consider how you can express your faith through your
tithes and offerings for next year.
BLUE
CHRISTMAS—Christmas time can be a very lonely,
depressing, "blue" time for those grieving the loss of loved ones
or other losses or for those who are all alone when others are partying and
gathering with family members. Concerned for those who find it difficult to
celebrate at this time of year, Grace church will be offering a Blue Christmas
service for anyone who so desires to attend. We hope you will
join us on Saturday, December 10, at 5:30pm in the sanctuary.
EVERYONE’S HELP IS
NEEDED! The Alpha Celebration Dinner is
coming Wednesday, December 7 at 5:30 pm in Fellowship Hall.
We’d like to ask that each and every adult or young adult at Grace Church
consider coming to the dinner. (It’s both the celebration for
the end of the fall Alpha Course and an introduction to what Alpha’s
about.) Bring your friends, relatives, associates and
neighbors. We’ll have a delicious meal followed by the video,
“Why Christmas?” You and your guests will learn a little
about what the course is like—and you’ll be helping your friends and
acquaintances. By your invitation and mine, we can reach the
people that can benefit from knowing Jesus by taking the Alpha
Course. If each of us would invite one person, think what a
difference we could make! Please make reservations by calling
the Church Office, 457-5329, or by signing up at the Newcomer display in
Fellowship Hall.
WELCOME to worship at Grace United
Methodist Church. We are happy that you are worshiping with
us today and invite you to become a part of our fellowship.
This is a holy place for worship, prayer, and celebration of what Jesus
Christ is doing in our lives.
CHILDREN are always welcome in our
worship services. Ask an usher for a special children’s
activity worksheet. First-time guests under age 12 are
invited to inquire at the Welcome Center for a special gift.
As a courtesy to parents, childcare (nursery thru 4 years) is available
across from the sanctuary in Rooms 201 & 203.
HEARING-IMPAIRED
WORSHIPERS
are encouraged to ask an usher for an
individual sound receiver to assist in hearing the worship
service.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED
WORSHIPERS are welcome to ask an usher
for a large print worship bulletin.
COFFEE AND
DONUTS is
a social time offered between each of our morning
worship services. We invite everyone to go to
our Fellowship Hall for refreshments and conversation. Your
contributions for donuts support the Youth Fellowship and sustain the coffee
ministry.
PLEASE PASS THE ATTENDANCE
PADS—
Guests and Members are requested to fill out the attendance pads found in the
pews. Please take time to read the names as the pads are
passed back so you may become
familiar with the names of those around you.

United
Methodist Church is a Christ-centered fellowship called to offer the best we can possibly give to God, as
we care for our community and world through…
…worshiping, glorifying, and honoring God the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
…inviting all to grow in the knowledge of the
Lord.
…living a Spirit-filled life through our actions and
words.
…offering the love of Christ to everyone.
