ALTAR FLOWERS FOR 2011 —  You may sign up for altar flowers for 2011 beginning this Sunday in Fellowship Hall.  Please see Angela Stamper or you may call her at 457-6716.  The cost is $35.00.

THERE IS STILL TIME—If you have forgotten to bring your “Giving as God has Given” commitment card, please see the ushers.  You may also get a copy from the church office.  Thank you for your faithfulness and generous response to our most generous Lord and Savior!

HURRY! HURRY! POINSETTIAS!  It’s time again to order poinsettias for the church altar.  The cost this year is $15.00.  You may place your order by filling out the envelope in the church bulletin and placing it in the offering plate.  You may order a poinsettia or make a memorial contribution in memory or honor of someone.  Order your poinsettias TODAY!

SNOW BIRDS, before you fly off, please make sure the church office has your winter address, phone and dates you plan to be gone.  You may call the office (765) 457-5329, mail the information to 212 W. Walnut or email us at kokomograce@kokomograce.org.

TONIGHT - “CAROLING, CAROLING THROUGH THE SNOW,” or rain, or maybe even nice weather! Come join us as we spread some Christmas cheer to our homebound members.We will be meeting

TONIGHT at 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall. Arts WILL be meeting at 5pm – the Joy Singers will rehearse briefly and then the kids (along with at least 1 parent/guardian) are invited to join in the caroling fun; cocoa will be served to all when we’re done! Please contact Barb Hobbs if you plan to join us for this fun evening, or if you know someone who would like to have some carolers stop by their home

SHOPPING WITH JOY - The Mission Ministry Team continues with the “Yellow Bag Collection”.  The items that are requested by organizations in the community are on a list inside the bag, so it will help you remember what donations are needed.  Please bring your donated items to the parlor area, so that the Mission Ministry Team can distribute the items to the different organizations. Grace Church has always responded so generously when asked to extend our love and care to the Kokomo Community. We know you will continue to embrace this collection method with the same enthusiasm.

DONKEY FOR OUR CHILDREN—It was a donkey that carried a very pregnant Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem. It was a donkey that carried Jesus into Jerusalem on that triumphant Palm Sunday. It is a donkey that the Children have decided to buy! donkey is a wonderful gift for a struggling family. They can be used to transport goods to sell at market, carry a sick child to a far-off clinic, farm equipment, and so much more! They are reliable, hardworking, and can live for 30 years or more! donkey costs $225 through Heifer International – and the kids have already collected nearly $200! So if you have some spare change – just look for a child or our ‘cow’ bottle, to donate it for our donkey! Thanks to all of you for your support!

ADVENT BOOKLET - Be sure you have your Advent Booklet.  The booklet, available from an usher, highlights a different Chrismon for each day of Advent.  Use it as a daily devotional or just to learn more about the Christian monogram.

UMW is IN NEED of a person to serve in the area of Communications to publicize events for the group.  Computer skills would be helpful.  Contact Nancy Hefley at 452-3038
